The Vegan Carob Bar is the dairy-free version of The Carob Kitchen's 80g block. Instead of milk solids it uses Australian grown almonds for creaminess, blended with ethically sourced cocoa butter.

Carob content is higher than the milk bars at 31% organically grown carob powder, with corn fibre and natural vanilla rounding it out. The brand describes the result as "naturally sweet, smooth and creamy" with a mild carob taste.

It is made for vegans and dairy-free households who also want to avoid caffeine - carob contains none. Eat it as a block, or melt and use in dairy-free baking.

Store in a cool, dry place between 15 and 22 degrees Celsius. Do not refrigerate.
