Description:

Original Body Essential Silicea is a colloidal silica gel made in Germany by Hübner and sold worldwide for more than 50 years. It is silicon dioxide suspended as minuscule, highly bioavailable particles in purified water — and nothing else. There are no colours, no flavours, no additives and no preservatives, and it is bottled in BPA-free packaging.

Silica is a trace mineral the body draws on to build and maintain connective tissue, and the body's reserves decline with age. Silicea is taken to support the structures that keep skin supple and smooth, hair strong and nails hard, as well as tendons, ligaments and cartilage, and to support the body's own collagen and elastin.

Adults and children over 12 years take one tablespoon (15mL) stirred into water or juice once daily. The gel can also be used topically — dab it onto the affected area, leave for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse with water. Shake before use and refrigerate after opening.
