Niulife Organic Coconut Ghee is a vegan, 100% plant-based butter alternative built on Niulife's DME (Direct Micro Expelling) Solomon Islands extra virgin coconut oil. Despite the name it contains no dairy at all - the natural plant extracts and carrot juice concentrate give it a golden colour and a genuine buttery taste rather than a coconut one.

It is a creamy, spreadable super-fat that behaves like butter in the kitchen. Use it 1:1 in place of butter or oil for baking and icing, frying eggs, mushrooms and pancakes, making vegan caramel popcorn, blending into bulletproof coffee, or drizzling over vegetables and cauliflower rice.

The coconut oil is cold-pressed within an hour of the coconut being opened, is unrefined, non-hydrogenated, hexane and chemical free, and contains no trans fats. It softens and becomes liquid around 23 degrees C, so texture varies with the weather.

It suits vegans, vegetarians and anyone avoiding dairy, and it is dairy free, soy free, gluten free and palm oil free.
