Nature's Sunshine Pure Pau D'Arco Tea is a 200g jar of loose, dried inner stem bark from the violet-flowered pau d'arco tree (Handroanthus heptaphyllus), sustainably sourced from Brazil. It is a pure bark tea with nothing else added, prepared as a hot infusion rather than taken as a tablet or capsule.

Pau d'arco is traditionally used as an antifungal, and Nature's Sunshine positions the tea for relieving inflammation and the mild symptoms of fungal infections of the skin and nails, as well as for detoxifying and cleansing and supporting general health and wellbeing.

To prepare, add 5 grams (1 level tablespoon) to 1 cup (250mL) of boiling water, remove from the heat, steep for 20 minutes and strain. One cup is taken three times daily, or as professionally prescribed. The 200g jar provides approximately 40 serves.

The product is vegan friendly. It is not recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding and should be taken two hours away from all prescription medications.
