The Natural Health Co. Natural Bristle & Bamboo Toothbrush is a 100% plastic-free toothbrush that uses natural animal-hair bristles woven directly into a bamboo handle, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional nylon-bristled brushes. Because there is no plastic anywhere in the brush, it avoids the microplastics that ordinary toothbrushes can shed into the mouth during brushing.

The range is available with two natural bristle types. The boar-bristle brush is medium-firm and suited to adults who prefer a more robust clean, while the horse-hair brush is medium-soft and gentle on sensitive gums, offered in both adult and child sizes. The boar bristles are sourced as a by-product of the meat industry and the horse hair is collected through regular grooming, with no animals harmed in production.

The natural bristles soften with use, and warming them briefly under warm water before brushing helps them soften faster. At the end of its life the entire brush, including all packaging, is home compostable and biodegradable, so nothing needs to go to landfill.
