Mindful Foods Activated Organic & Spray-Free Seed Mix brings together sunflower seeds, pepitas, linseed, sesame and chia in one activated blend. The brand long-soaks the sunflower seeds and pepitas in home-made kombucha, filtered water and Australian rock salt, then dehydrates them for 12 hours below 60 degrees Celsius.

That activation process is the point of difference. Mindful Foods says it makes the seeds easier to digest, more nutrient-rich and distinctly crunchy, without any roasting in oil.

The brand suggests sprinkling it on salads, soups, curries or vegies. It also works stirred through yoghurt, porridge and smoothie bowls, folded into bread and muffin batters, or eaten by the handful as a savoury snack.

Made in Australia from at least 50% Australian ingredients and handmade in the Northern Rivers region, with the sunflower seeds and pepitas Australian-grown. Keep it in a dry place, in the glass jars or compostable bags it arrives in.
