Maharishi Ayurveda Nasya Oil for nasal skin care is made from 25 powerful herbs such as vetiver, nut grass, cinnamon, cardamom and sandalwood. According to Ayurveda it nourishes all five sensory organs and is said to strengthen the flow of prana, the most subtle aspect of breathing. Nasya Oil is Tridoshashamaka, helping to balance all three doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

The ancient Ayurvedic texts describe the nose as the gateway to the head and the entrance for prana, the life force that enters the body through breathing, underscoring the significance of wholesome breathing. A light sesame-oil base is easily absorbed and moisturising, while sandalwood, liquorice and vetiver add cooling, soothing qualities.

Apply 2-3 drops inside each nostril, massaging the inner wall of the nasal passage; a few drops before air travel help prevent dryness.
