I'm Nutrients Brain DHA is a children's omega-3 supplement presented as a chewable soft gel capsule with a liquid centre that bursts when bitten. Each capsule delivers 125mg of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from sustainably grown microalgae, the same omega-3 fat that oily fish accumulate by eating algae in the first place.

Because the DHA is sourced from algae rather than fish, the capsules are completely fish-free and free of the fishy aftertaste and reflux that put many children off traditional fish oil. They are naturally flavoured with blueberry and orange oil, sweetened with steviol glycosides, and contain no added sugar and no artificial colours or flavours.

DHA is a structural building block of the brain, central nervous system and the retina, and dietary intake matters most through the years of rapid growth. Children aged 12 to 24 months take one capsule daily and children aged 2 years and over take two capsules daily; younger children who cannot chew can have the capsule cut and squeezed onto food. Refrigerate after opening and use within 30 days.

Each chewable soft gel capsule contains: Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-rich oil from microalgae Schizochytrium sp. 171.23mg, equivalent to docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 125mg. Also contains: medium chain triglycerides, turmeric, lecithin, yellow beeswax, steviol glycosides, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid, natural blueberry flavour, natural orange oil, mixed tocopherols concentrate, tapioca starch, gelatine and glycerol. Contains gelatine, sulfites and soya beans. Free from artificial colours and flavours, added sugar, gluten, egg, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts and shellfish. Not suitable for children under 12 months.
