Cooki Travel Tin

Description:

The Cooki Travel Tin is the brand's reusable metal bar container, sold on its own. Cooki pitches it as a great solution for when the shampoo or conditioner bar you want is out of stock in a tin, or if you have misplaced or damaged the tin your bar originally came in. Note that it arrives empty.

Two tin sizes are available. The Shampoo Tin is 6.5cm in diameter and takes the 65g shampoo bar. The Conditioner Tin is 7.7cm in diameter, takes the 75g conditioner bar, and also accommodates the 108g JUMBO shampoo bars.

The Travel Tin Drainage Tray is a lightweight metal insert that sits inside the tin so bars can dry out properly between uses, particularly while travelling. It stops bars sitting in their own meltwater, which is what turns them mushy and glues them to the base of the tin. For 65g shampoo bars, insert the tray flat-side down and place the bar on top when travelling so the lid closes easily; in the shower, flip it flat-side up for maximum drainage.

For 75g conditioner and 108g JUMBO bars the tray works as a mini-drainer, but a brand-new full-height bar may stop the lid closing, so store the tray separately until the bar wears down slightly. No plastic is used in Cooki packaging.
