Description:

This is Cooki's scalp-condition bar, aimed squarely at oily, itchy and flaky scalps and dandruff. It is made with four essential oils plus creamy cocoa butter, and the brand's framing is that it goes to work balancing the scalp and soothing itching and flaking at the source rather than masking it.

Peppermint oil is the hero — Cooki claims it boosts circulation, stimulates follicles and fights yeast, which the brand names as a common underlying cause of dandruff and scalp itching. Citronella oil deep-cleanses, patchouli oil soothes inflammation, and chamomile oil adds softness and shine. It is colour-safe on highlights.

To use, wet the bar in your hands until it begins to lather, run it through wet hair from root to tip, massage until lathered, then rinse thoroughly. Dry the bar on a drainer dish for longevity.
