The Coconut Shampoo Bar is Cooki's gentlest shampoo bar and the brand's recommended starting point for anyone with sensitive skin or a reactive scalp. It is mild, low in scent and suits all hair types.

The formula is short and butter-heavy: organic shea butter to nourish hair and scalp, cocoa butter to condition and tame frizz, and virgin coconut oil to seal the hair shaft. Critically it contains no essential oils at all, which makes it Cooki's most pregnancy-safe option and the best choice for scalp conditions.

To use, wet the bar in your hands until it starts to lather, run it through wet hair from root to tip while massaging, then rinse thoroughly. Store it on a drainer dish and let it dry completely between washes.

Available as a 65g refill box or a 65g reusable metal tin. One 65g bar is claimed to last as long as three 250g plastic bottles of shampoo. Colour-safe on highlights, vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and palm oil-free.
