Alkalife is an Australian naturally alkaline mineral water drawn from a deep underground aquifer in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. The water is naturally filtered through limestone and quartz rock formations, which is where it picks up its dissolved minerals and its alkalinity - nothing is added and no ionising or artificial alkalising machinery is used.

It tests at pH 8.0 (+/- 0.3) with a typical mineral profile of bicarbonate 205-250 mg/L, calcium 55-64 mg/L, magnesium 10-13 mg/L, silica 18-28 mg/L, potassium 1.0 mg/L, sodium 5-6 mg/L and chloride 4-8 mg/L. Total alkalinity runs 205-240. The brand has held a 3-star rating from the International Taste and Quality Institute (ITQI), judged by sommeliers and chefs.
