The Lupin Co Lupin Protein Flakes

Description:

The Lupin Co Lupin Protein Flakes are made from Australian Sweet Lupin (ASL), a legume grown mostly in Western Australia and bred for low alkaloid content, so it has very little bitterness. The seeds are harvested, cleaned and sized on farm, dehulled, colour-sorted in three stages, then gently reduced at no more than 36°C into delicate flakes.

The flakes are naturally high in both protein and fibre, low GI, gluten free and only around 4% carbohydrate, which makes them a popular choice for vegan, keto and low-carb eaters as well as anyone with coeliac disease.

Use them raw or cooked. Sprinkle over cereal, yoghurt and salads, blend into smoothies, bake into breads and muffins, add to casseroles, or cook them as a replacement for couscous, pasta, rice or quinoa. Recommended serve: 40g (4 tablespoons) per day.
