NutriVital Lysine 1000 contains lysine, an essential amino acid, in a high-strength 1000mg tablet.

Lysine may reduce the severity of symptoms and the healing time of cold sores, and may also reduce the recurrence rate. Lysine assists the metabolism of carbohydrates, supports absorption of dietary calcium and helps protein synthesis in the body.

Adults take four tablets daily with food or as directed.
