Description:

Pure is the original, unscented bar in the Niulife range - pure, cleansing and moisturising, with just three ingredients plus a super-fatting dose of extra virgin coconut oil. It is handcrafted in the Solomon Islands from oil hand-pressed by village co-operatives using Niulife's DME (Direct Micro Expelling) process, and is certified organic and Fair Trade.

With no essential oils, fragrance, colourants or botanicals, it is the bar to reach for if you have reactive skin, an allergy history, a young child, or simply do not want to smell of anything. The 100g bar produces a rich white lather and rinses clean without the squeaky, stripped feeling of detergent soaps.

It is also the range's workhorse. Coconut soap lathers in salt water - a long-standing favourite with sailors and yachties - and in hard water while camping, without harming waterways. It cuts grease well enough to serve as a hand de-greaser after dirty work, and rubbed damp onto a stain it is an excellent pre-wash laundry bar.

No animal fats, preservatives, palm oil or sodium lauryl sulphate, and no plastic packaging.
