Lemon Charcoal is Niulife's textured bar, billed by the brand as nature's refreshing exfoliant. It is a 100g handcrafted bar from the Solomon Islands, built on the same base of DME hand-pressed, certified organic, Fair Trade virgin coconut oil as the rest of the range.

The scent comes from Eucalyptus citriodora (lemon-scented gum) essential oil - a bright, clean citrus note that is sharper and greener than a true lemon oil. It gives the bar a lively, deodorising character that works well as a morning or post-workout wash.

It is aimed at people who want a little more from a body bar than plain cleansing: a gentle scrub for shoulders, back, elbows and feet, and a fresh citrus finish. Use it in the shower on damp skin, working the lather in with light pressure, and rinse. Like the other bars it is super-fatted, so it exfoliates without leaving skin tight.

As with the whole range it excludes animal fats, preservatives, palm oil and sodium lauryl sulphate, and carries Fair Trade certification.
