Description:

The genuine Ecobud replacement cartridge for the Gentoo range — it fits the Gentoo, Gentoo Plus, Gentoo Glass and Gentoo Lite water filter jugs. Keeping a spare on hand means the jug never sits idle waiting for a filter.

Each cartridge runs a six-stage filtration process. A fine top mesh / PPF filter catches particles and oils; energising ceramic reduces the size of the water molecule clusters; granulated activated carbon made from coconut shells strips chlorine and organic chemical pollutants; Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF) media captures heavy metals and inhibits bacteria, algae and fungus; calcium ionised clay with ion exchange releases alkaline calcium ions and reduces fluoride; and a bottom mesh filter stops any media escaping into the jug.

The result is water with chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals, PFAS and PFOS reduced to minimal levels, a healthier alkaline pH, and the naturally occurring minerals left intact — noticeably better for drinking, brewing tea and coffee, and preparing meals.

Replace every three months or after 600 litres, whichever comes first (roughly 150–200 litres a month for an average household). Follow the included preparation instructions before first use.
