Cooki's Purple Shampoo Bar is a solid toning shampoo formulated to neutralise yellow and brassy hues in blonde, grey, white or highlighted hair. The purple pigment is Violet No. 2 (CI 60730), and the brand's key point of difference against liquid purple shampoos is that it doesn't stain your hands, scalp or shower purple.

It carries a medium jasmine scent and includes natural organic cocoa butter and extra virgin olive oil so that toning doesn't come at the cost of dryness. It suits all hair types and is gentle enough for frequent use. For dark dyed hair, Cooki redirects to the Rice Water Protein bar instead.

Use it one to three times a week to combat brassiness, alternating with another Cooki shampoo bar on other wash days, and pair it with the Purple Conditioner Bar. Wet the bar in your hands until it lathers, run it root to tip through wet hair, massage, rinse thoroughly, and dry on a drainer dish between washes.

Available as a 65g refill box, a 65g reusable metal tin, or the 108g JUMBO tin. Marketed as a leak-proof travel shampoo. Vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and palm oil-free.
