BioCeuticals MultiGest Enzymes is a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme formula combining plant-derived enzymes (amylase, protease, lipase, tilactase, cellulase and bromelains) with the traditional digestive herbs gentian and fennel.

The enzymes assist the digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, fats and lactose, while gentian has traditionally been used in Western herbal medicine to promote healthy digestive function and stimulate gastric secretions, and fennel to relieve flatulence. Together gentian and fennel help relieve digestive discomfort and symptoms of indigestion such as bloating.

Maximum of 3 capsules a day, or as professionally prescribed; taken with food. For lactose digestion take 3 capsules with a lactose-containing meal; for protein digestion take 1 capsule with a protein-containing meal.

Each capsule contains: Amylase-12000 DU 80 mg; Protease-30000 HUT 45 mg; Lipase-500 LipU 25 mg; Tilactase-1500 ALU 17.25 mg; Cellulase-1000 CU 6.7 mg; Bromelains-1.2 million PU 40 mg; Foeniculum vulgare (fennel) seed 167 mg (equiv. dry 1.67 g); Gentiana lutea (gentian) root 134 mg (equiv. dry 670 mg). Contains benzoates, phenylalanine, soy bean products, galactose, lactose, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, saccharin, sugars and gluten.
