Description:

Intestamine is an oral powder for digestive and gut health, combining glutamine with soothing herbs including slippery elm, aloe vera, mastic and pectin, plus curcumin (as Theracurmin) and citrus bioflavonoids. It has a pear flavour and is a practitioner-only product.

It is designed to relieve the symptoms of dyspepsia, gastrointestinal pain and heartburn, and to support the health and integrity of the gut lining. Slippery elm bark is traditionally used as a demulcent to soothe irritated tissues, and the formula helps decrease symptoms of mild gastritis and mild gastrointestinal tract inflammation.

The standard dose is 5 g (1 level metric teaspoon) three times a day, mixed into water or juice. It is available in 150g and 300g sizes.

Ingredients:

Each 5 g dose contains: Glutamine 2 g; Pistacia lentiscus (mastic) 550 mg; Ulmus rubra (slippery elm) powder stem bark inner 500 mg; Citrus bioflavonoids extract 200 mg; Pectin 100 mg; Curcumin 15 mg (equiv. 45.5 mg Theracurmin); Aloe vera juice dry 2.5 mg (equiv. 500 mg fresh leaf inner juice). Contains sugars and sulfites. Contains 43.8 mg of potassium per maximum daily dose. No added dairy, gluten, yeast or soy; vegan and vegetarian friendly.
