Alter Eco Truffle Thins are where a chocolate bar meets a chocolate truffle: a thin 60% cacao Ecuadorian dark chocolate shell wrapped around a soft truffle centre, scored into thin squares.

The Salted Caramel centre is a caramel filling of organic coconut oil, raw cane sugar, cacao beans, cocoa butter and whole milk, seasoned with caramel powder and 0.3% fleur de sel sea salt. Malty Ecuadorian cacao, coconut oil and the fleur de sel combine for a sweet-and-salty bite.

A couple of thin squares is the serve – it is a savour-or-share confectionery bar rather than a snacking or baking chocolate. Please note it contains milk and coconut, so it is vegetarian rather than vegan.

Alter Eco is a Certified B Corporation whose cacao is certified organic and Fair for Life fair trade certified, grown by farmer co-operatives using regenerative agroforestry – planting timber, banana and legumes alongside the cacao to rebuild soil health.
