Description:

Alter Eco Super Blackout is a 90% cacao organic dark chocolate block made from only four ingredients – cacao beans, cocoa butter, raw cane sugar and Madagascar vanilla beans. There are no emulsifiers, no palm oil and no artificial flavours, so almost all of the bar is cacao rather than sugar.

Malty Ecuadorian cacao is blended with fruitier Dominican cacao and given extended Swiss conching, which is how a bar this dark keeps a smooth melt without leaning on sugar. At roughly 3g of added sugar per 30g serve it suits keto, paleo and low-sugar eaters as well as dark chocolate purists.

Eat it as squares straight from the block, pair it with coffee, red wine or tea, or chop it into baking and drinking chocolate.

Alter Eco is a Certified B Corporation whose cacao is certified organic and Fair for Life fair trade certified, grown by farmer co-operatives using regenerative agroforestry – planting timber, banana and legumes alongside the cacao to rebuild soil health.
