Alter Eco Dark Salted Coconut Toffee is a 47% cacao organic dark milk chocolate block shot through with pieces of real coconut toffee. Roasty-toasty Sri Lankan coconut and caramelised Paraguayan cane sugar are cooked into a toffee, sprinkled with coarse French sea salt for crunch, then folded into velvety Peruvian dark chocolate.

This is the indulgent end of the Alter Eco range – a buttery, salty-sweet bar for shoppers who want an organic fair trade treat rather than a high-cacao purist block. It makes an easy gift bar, and the toffee pieces also work chopped over ice cream or through baking.

Please note this bar is vegetarian but not vegan: it contains organic whole milk and butterfat, and declares milk and coconut as allergens.

Alter Eco is a Certified B Corporation whose cacao is certified organic and Fair for Life fair trade certified, grown by farmer co-operatives using regenerative agroforestry – planting timber, banana and legumes alongside the cacao to rebuild soil health.
