Alter Eco Dark Salted Brown Butter is a 70% cacao organic dark chocolate block enriched with browned organic butterfat and finished with fleur de sel de Guérande. Grass-fed milk is churned and browned, then stirred into the malty depths of Alter Eco’s signature Ecuadorian cacao.

The result is an ultra-silky, salty-sweet dark chocolate for shoppers who want a richer block than a plain 70%. It is best eaten as a snacking or after-dinner bar, square by square.

Please note this bar is vegetarian but not vegan – organic butterfat makes up 5% of the recipe and milk is declared as an allergen.

Alter Eco is a Certified B Corporation whose cacao is certified organic and Fair for Life fair trade certified, grown by farmer co-operatives using regenerative agroforestry – planting timber, banana and legumes alongside the cacao to rebuild soil health.
