Alter Eco Mint Blackout – previously sold as Super Dark Mint – is a 90% cacao organic dark chocolate block with a peppermint crunch running through it. Crisp pieces of organic raw cane sugar, organic peppermint oil and organic cocoa powder are set into the brand’s deepest dark chocolate, with a mellowing touch of Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean.

The peppermint and the small amount of cane sugar soften the bitterness, which makes this a common entry point for shoppers who find a plain 90% bar too austere. It is vegan, dairy free and gluten free.

Eat it as squares after dinner or with coffee or tea. Because of the crisp mint inclusion it is best eaten as it comes rather than melted for baking.
