Alter Eco Dark Almonds Blackout is an 85% cacao organic dark chocolate block studded with whole organic almonds and finished with French fleur de sel. It is the almond variant of Alter Eco’s Blackout range, built on a blend of malty Ecuadorian and fruitier Dominican Republic cacao and conched in Switzerland for a smooth melt.

It is made for shoppers who find 70% bars too sweet – there are just 4g of sugar per 30g serve, alongside 4g of fibre and 2g of protein. Break off a square or two as an afternoon snack or an after-dinner piece with coffee, or chop it through baking, granola and trail mix.

Alter Eco is a Certified B Corporation whose cacao is certified organic and Fair for Life fair trade certified, grown by farmer co-operatives using regenerative agroforestry – planting timber, banana and legumes alongside the cacao to rebuild soil health.
