Chief Australian Grass-fed Collagen Protein is a hydrolysed bovine collagen peptide powder made from Australian grass-fed cattle. It supplies Type I and III collagen with a low kilodalton score (an average molecular weight of less than 1kDa in the unflavoured version), which the brand describes as highly bioavailable. Every batch is tested to be free from heavy metals, pesticides and herbicides such as glyphosate.

Chief positions it as a way to increase daily protein intake while supporting glowing skin, stronger nails, muscle recovery, joints and tendons, and gut health. It is marketed as suitable for the whole family, including children, and as better tolerated by people with sensitive stomachs than other proteins such as whey.

The three flavours differ in composition. Unflavoured is 100% collagen peptides with nothing added. Dark Chocolate blends cocoa and organic raw cacao with the subtle sweetness of monk fruit. Neither flavoured version uses artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols.
