In the early 1970’s psyllium husk was not even uncommon in Australia, it was unheard of! Bonvit was one of the first, if not the first to bring in psyllium husk from India. Like all his new ideas our founder, Joe would pack products in ‘the shop’ at Kings Cross Health Foods and the public would decide.
50 years later Bonvit Psyllium Husks are now available in Health Food Stores, Supermarkets and Pharmacies all over Australia, and each year we bring in around 140 tons of high grade psyllium husks to meet demand. Psyllium only grows India, there is one crop every year, and with 50 years of experience we know how to source only the very best from every harvest.
Our psyllium undergoes microbiolical testing, physical testing, testing for elemental impurites and quality control that meets, and even exceeds Australian food standards. Procedures are in place to ensure that our psyllium husk is monitored in pre-production, in-line production and post-production so that psyllium husks from Bonvit are only PREMIUM quality.
Psyllium Husks are one of the most gentle and effective sources of soluble fibre found in nature. A natural mucilaginous bulk-forming agent with a smooth texture which absorbs water and contributes to regular laxation.

You have 14 days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. You will be issued with a store credit to be used for future purchases. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer should you wish to exchange an item.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
